Review animation Megamind
This is not what I'm searching for.

I've been a fan of all kinds of animated movies for years. I'm pretty sure I've seen most of them by now. I don't often go to see them in the cinema, but I enjoy them most when I'm at home on the couch with my friend. Yesterday we watched Megamind, not to be confused with Megamindy. Did the story about this bad guy move me?
Story
Megamind and Metroman, two rivals who keep standing up to each other. Megamind is evil (and that seems to be the only thing he’s good at) and Metroman is awesome and obviously the hero of the town. Metroman is in love with Roxanne Ritchie, a reporter in Metro City (a name that Megamind pronounces very strangely). To oppose Metroman, Megamind often kidnaps Roxanne. Metroman saves her again and so the circle is complete. Megamind is fed up with it: Metroman must die. When he seems to have managed this, he starts missing his playmate after all. There’s nothing left to do in the city. Megamind is bored to tears. So he decides to create a new hero: Titan is supposed to be a good guy, but is he?
Good animation?
A good animated movie needs to be funny, but also have a moral. Both can be found in this funny movie. It has exactly my kind of humour, which had me rolling on the floor laughing several times. Megamind is an awesome character with many ironic statements. Next to that, Hal, who is being transformed into Titan, is a veritable loser. This setup will definitely have you cracking up, which, in my opinion, every animation movie should do. The message becomes clear at the end; nothing special, but appropriate for a family film. Of course, I won’t say what that message is: it’s much more fun to find out for yourself.
Conclusion
This movie is very entertaining. It was exactly what I felt like watching at that moment. Megamind certainly lived up to my expectations. Enough humour, funny characters, well thought out story and a clear message. That’s why I’m not done with this awesome character just yet: luckily there’s a comic that I can read. For fans like me: http://www.megamind.com/comic/ That should keep me busy for another few hours!
